Drone photography in New London

The cornfield film on this page was flown here, low and fast down the rows at harvest. It is a marketing shot rather than an agronomy one, but it makes the point: the camera can go where a person cannot, at the speed the subject deserves.
For growers, the practical work is duller and more useful. A single nadir pass gives you a map of where the stand is thin, where water is sitting and where the headland is being worked too hard — before any of it is obvious from the cab.
