The site is hosted by Vercel and its photographs are served through Cloudflare. Both keep standard request logs: your IP address, your browser and device type, the page requested, and the time. That is how any web server works, and neither I nor they use those logs to build a profile of you.

The site also runs Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Speed Insights. Analytics tells me which pages people read and roughly where in the world they are; it sets cookies and Google processes the data on my behalf. Speed Insights measures how fast pages load and sets no cookies. Neither is used for advertising, and this site carries no advertising or retargeting pixels of any kind.

The quote form asks for your name and email, and optionally your company, phone number, the type of project and a message. If you arrived at the form from a pricing card, the package name and its listed price come along so I know what you were looking at.

That submission is delivered by Formspree, which processes it on my behalf and passes it to my inbox. I use it to answer you and to keep a record of the job. I do not sell it, rent it, or add you to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list.

The flight-count badge in the footer is a live image from Airdata, which is the entire point of it — the number is theirs, not mine, so it cannot be a number I made up. Loading it means your browser contacts Airdata directly, and Airdata sees your IP address and browser type on every page.

Video is handled the other way around. The poster images you see before pressing play are served from this domain, not from YouTube, so YouTube learns nothing about a visitor who never presses play. Only when you press play does the player load, and it loads from youtube-nocookie.com.

The typefaces are downloaded when the site is built and served from this domain. Your browser does not contact Google to load them, despite their being Google fonts.

Google Analytics sets cookies to tell repeat visits from new ones. Nothing else on this site does.

Your light or dark theme choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the key zz-theme. It never leaves your device and is never sent to me.

Blocking cookies, using a tracker blocker, or turning on your browser's Do Not Track will not break anything here. The site works the same either way.

Every flight is made under an FAA Part 107 certificate for a specific client and a specific property. Photographs are framed on that property. Neighbouring homes, vehicles or people are sometimes visible in a frame the way they are visible from any public road, and I do not fly to photograph them.

Delivered client imagery is not published. Nothing a client receives appears on this site, and the photographs here are my own frames, published because they are mine to publish.

If you believe you or your property appear in something published on this site and you would rather they did not, email me and I will take it down. You do not have to explain why.

Enquiries stay in my inbox while there is a live conversation and for as long as I need a record of a job. Analytics data is retained on Google's default schedule. Original flight files are retained per the terms of the engagement — for build documentation that is stated on the pricing page.

Email info@zigzagaerial.us and ask what I hold about you, ask for a copy, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. I will do it, and I will not ask you to fill in a form to make the request.

For analytics specifically, Google publishes a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics on every site at once, and any mainstream tracker blocker does the same job here.

This is a business-to-business site for property, construction and insurance work. It is not directed at children and I do not knowingly collect anything from them.

If what the site does changes, this page changes with it. The date below is the date it last changed, and it is generated from the site's own source history rather than typed in, so it cannot quietly go stale.
