Ground photography of an event captures faces. It almost never captures scale, and scale is usually the thing an organizer, a sponsor or a township needs to show — how many people came, how much ground it covered, what the whole site looked like full.

  • Sponsor and recap decks

    One aerial frame of a full site does more in a sponsorship deck than a page of attendance figures. Organizers use these for next year's pitch as much as for this year's recap.

  • Sports complexes and tournaments

    Multi-field complexes photographed with every field in play at once — the frame a league, a parks department or a facility cannot take from anywhere on the ground.

  • Golf courses

    Hole-by-hole aerials for yardage guides, club marketing and outing packages. A course reads completely differently from 200 feet than from the tee.

  • Township parks and public facilities

    Grant applications, annual reports and public meetings all move faster with a current aerial of the facility being discussed.

Flying over people has rules

Part 107 restricts flight over people who are not part of the operation, and a crowd is exactly that. The work gets done from stand-off positions, orbits and altitude rather than directly overhead, and a controlled-airspace venue needs LAANC authorization arranged in advance. Booking early is not a sales line here — it is what makes the flight legal.

Flights are weather and airspace dependent. Reschedules for weather are free, and controlled-airspace work may need advance FAA / LAANC authorization. I'll coordinate timing with you.
